Decisions for the Next Generation
I'll be saying
more on the issues and my positions as time permits. I will be looking
at how the Port's mission and strategic actions can do more for the
people they tax. I will discuss how I think the Port can better help
small business county-wide and will try to highlight specific opportunities
for better representation and responsiveness. But it is not just about
how we can make the Port work better for the folks it taxes.
The bottom line is that the Port is going to be making some decisions
that will be very important to the future of our community. These
will be decisons for the next generation. Now is the
time to take a stand for public access to public lands. Once it is
gone, it is gone forever. I
hope you will support me in my vision for a public waterfront that
is a commons for all Whatcom County.
I am the
most qualified candidate. I have years of experience in small business
and local government. I have a long history of hard work protecting
the public's interest. You can trust me to ask the hard questions
and make the best decisions for the voters and taxpayers of Whatcom
County.
But I will
need your help to unseat the incumbent of 14 years.
